The espresso martini is having a major moment—and for good reason. It’s fun, elegant, and gives you that perfect mix of buzz and indulgence. This Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini takes the trendy favorite and gives it a cozy seasonal upgrade with homemade pumpkin syrup and warm fall spices. It’s everything you love about the classic, just with a little autumn flair.
Even though I’ve dressed it up with a marshmallow spiderweb for Halloween, this cocktail easily carries through the entire season. Skip the web and you’ve got a gorgeous drink for Thanksgiving or any fall dinner party. The homemade pumpkin syrup adds just the right amount of richness and spice without being too sweet, pairing perfectly with the bold espresso and smooth vodka.
It’s festive yet sophisticated—the kind of cocktail that feels just as right at a Halloween gathering as it does after a cozy fall meal. If you love a good espresso martini, this is your new seasonal favorite.
🕸 Marshmallow Spiderweb Decoration
This part is messy but so fun—and the result is worth it!
- Place a few marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Heat them for about 10 seconds, just until softened.
- Let the marshmallows cool slightly, then use your fingertips to stretch and pull the melted marshmallow into thin, stringy strands.
- Gently drape the strands across the top of your martini glass to form a spiderweb effect.
(Tip: This looks best on top of the foam from your shaken martini! You can see a video of this technique on @fromscratchwithmaria.)
